Our goal with Heartland SwingOut is to bring together the swing dance communities around Iowa and the midwest for a day filled with joy, music, and movement. Whether you take classes to get inspired, or seek new connections on the dance floor, this is an event you won't want to miss! Coming from out of town and need a host family? Please note that all event registrations are final. Early bird pricing is only available until May 31st. After this date, standard pricing will apply. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Prices listed do not include any applicable taxes or fees, which are charged by the ticketing platform. Event registration must be completed via EventBrite. Individual tickets to either evening dance and the Mix-n-Match competition can be purchased with cash or Venmo in person at the event, which incur no fees. Evening dance tickets sold at the door are subject to availability and venue capacity.

Are you coming to Des Moines from out of town and need somewhere to stay? No problem! Sign up below to stay with a local host. Housing requests will be processed on a first-come, first served basis. We will do our best to match you with a local host for the weekend, however housing requests are not guaranteed. We will reach out to you directly to follow up.
